Bone is a graphic novel series about 4 characters Fone Bone, Phoney Bone, and Smiley Bone. Phoney Bone committed a crime to get them all chased out of there homeland. I read the first book, I really enjoyed the first book. I would really recommend the book to anyone that loves graphic novels. I would really love to read the book 42. This book is about someone that gets his arm stuck in a rock and has to cut it off. 

Ankel Sprain 

I watch the basketball come out of his hands, I take a glance at the clock 3 mins 12 sec. The ball is going right of the basket, I move to the right, I go up for the ball, when I come down with it, I roll my ankle, the excruciating pain to my ankle sent me to the ground. I was more nerves that I had really injured myself. The actual physical pain was not as bad as the thought that I had just broke  my ankle.  

Into Thin Air
Jon Krakauer

This is a very interesting book about Jon Krakauer, the main character telling the readers about all of the highs and lows he went thought to summit everest. They have to deal with the harsh weather, and oxygen loss. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone that loves a book that will keep them on the edge of there seat.

This is a non fiction book about everest climbers and there journey to reach the summit. Will they make it to the top alive? I really like this book because it gives a little suspense to the plot. It is action packed and i would really recommend it to readers that read a lot at a time because it is very easy to get lost in this book. The one warning i have about this book is it has a lot of curse word so, gabe, probably not the book for you.

I would really like to read an action book next book group

This book was told through one view, with 4 different main characters. There is Fone Bone, Phoney Bone, and Smiley Bone. They where chased out of there town and separated, they have to find each other and survive the deadly forest.

I want books that have a lot of action, adventure, suspense books.

This Book is really good, but i think that people that enjoy computers and technology would really love this book.  This book is set where people have computers in there heads "the feed" where they can access the internet, tv, they can also text. They can do almost anything.

WARNING This book has a lot of bad words, anyone that gets offended by bad words should stay away from this book.

This book was told through two different characters, Day and June. Day is a poor boy living on the streets and June is living in upper class.  They live totally different lives until day killed Junes older brother and June tracks him down.


I think there was symbolism that we shouldn't take anything for granted. This is why I think the book was set in a very dramatic world meaning everyone was really poor, or really rich.

I would recommend this book for a book group. In fact, I think you should only read this book as a book group book. There are a lot of topics in the book that some people would not understand, topics that people would need some one to talk to about. In the book There are a lot of cartoons, some of them are confusing, so you might need someone to talk to, just to comprehend the content.

I think that would make a good movie. I think it would make a better movie than a book. There are a lot of places where Emotions and actual people saying the context, would really benefit to the movie.

Junior was born with to much Cerebral Spinal Fluid in is brain. He is constantly getting teased an bullied on the reservation. He chooses to leave the reservation to go the the rich white school (Reardan.) He has to find himself before he does anything else. 

I liked this book because it was a really fun read, meaning I want to keep reading more. I also like it because it feels like a real story that would actually happen to an Indian. It talks about racism, poverty and more. I would really recommend this book.  

Yaqui Delgado Wants to Kick Your Ass

Piddy Sanchez just moved from her old school and knows nobody. One day a girl comes up to her and tells Piddy that Yaqui Deldado wants to kick here ass. Yaqui Delgado and her crew starts to bully Piddy. The bulling slowly gets worse, and Piddy try to stay away from Yaqui's crew but they keep coming back. 

I thought this was a good book because instead of having an obvious ending, Medina made a more realistic ending.  I also liked it because I have never read a book about bulling before.

This book has two stories going on at the same time Ben's story, told in words and Rose's story told in pictures. Ben, deaf in one ear goes on a exiting mission to find his missing father. Rose deaf in both ears goes on a mission to meat a mysterious actress.


"The wolves had been chasing him again and his heart was pounding." "Ben lay back down on the old cot squeezed between the dresser and the window."


I thought the author did a really good job setting the scene on the first sentence because there was a lot of detail going into how he was scared, and you could tell that he was worried from the first few words. I really liked the second sentence because you felt like you were right there with him in his small room.

I like how Wade Develops in this book. How I pictured him as kind of a sad kid, even if he seams happy, to me he felt a little dark. I think he got happier as the book when on because of his friends. His friends helped him in ways that some other friends wouldn't, they really help him to become a better person in general also.

I have read to page 101 and this is what I know so far...

The OASIS is a computer program that most humans use every day. The billionaire that created the program just died and anyone that finds the three keys will unlock all of his riches. Wade Watts stumbles upon his first clue, and he will do everything to unlock the three keys. 


"Everyone my age remembers where they were and what they were doing when they first heard about the contest. I was sitting in my hideout watching cartoons when the news bulletin broke in my video feed, announcing that James Halliday had died during the night. I'd heard of Halliday  of course. Everyone had."

I really like this introduction, it really got me hooked into the book. The introduction tells a lot about the character in a short period of time.

Not a lot of language but It occurs a few times.

His team saw it all happen, they thought that the piece of debris had killed him so they left to go to a secure place. leaving him stranded.    

Review: 

I really liked this book, I thought that the book was educational as long as fun to read. I would highly recommend this book, but I really liked this book because of two main things…

I really liked the mathematical aspect of the book because, almost every  idea that he had to solve problems that occurred on Mars, were actually reasonable ideas, like figuring out how much water he will need to stay alive. He figured out  how much water a person drinks each day, then figured out how long until the next mission arrives to save him, and then finally how much water he will need to stay alive for that period of time.

I also liked really liked the experiments that he did like building a fire in a oxygen rich room to combined hydrogen and oxygen to create more water for himself.
